Best Hydrating Masks–Sephora!

Welcome back to TheLexiEdit! In today’s post, we are going to discuss the best hydrating masks, in my opinion. Just a little bit of background on me and my skin journey…I had very bad acne in high school so I went on Acutane during the start of my senior year and my skin became very very dry during and directly after going on Acutane. I now have normal to dry skin! Yet, I still know what it is like to have dry skin from my Acutane days so I can provide great recommendations and let y’all know what saved my skin during the Acutane days! I hope you enjoy this post and I also hope you have a great rest of your day! XO!

Best Hydrating Masks–Sephora:

  1. Glam Glow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment–$59

This mask is an absolute staple in any dry skin girl’s skincare collection. It is the best and basically the holy grail of all hydrating face masks. This mask saved my skin’s life when I was in high school and on Acutane, which dries out your skin very severely. This mask totally revitalized my skin and prevented my skin from literally peeling off my face!

According to the Sephora website, “THIRSTYMUD™ uses the newest, most advanced, and extreme hydration active technologies. It moisturizes, restores, replenishes, and calms the skin. Hyaluronic acid helps deeply hydrate skin for a dewy, glowing complexion, while HydraPack™ leaves skin with an instant silky, soft, and supple feel. GreenEnergy™ smooths and energizes the skin, giving you a healthy-looking, glowing complexion.”

2. Fresh Rose Face Mask–$62

This mask is another great hydrating mask! I now personally have normal to oily skin, more normal in the fall and winter, and more oily in the spring and summer, but I can still use this mask and still reap the benefits! This mask provides hydration to the skin without overwhelming the skin and making it oily! This mask is a cult-favorite hydrating and toning gel mask infused with real rose petals, soothing rosewater, and a “smart” algae that delivers optimum moisture.

P.S. Check out the Sephora website and search “Fresh Rose Face Mask” for tips and tricks on how to apply this mask!

According to the Sephora website, “Fresh Rose Face Mask is a toning gel mask that drenches dull, tired skin with hydration for a healthy-looking complexion. This unique cooling mask is infused with real rose petals (an average of two-and-a-half roses per jar) to restore radiance and suppleness to all skin types.

The refreshing formula targets dry areas with porphyridium cruentum, a “smart” algae that delivers optimum moisture where the skin needs it most. Cucumber extract and aloe vera gel help soothe the skin and have an immediate cooling and calming effect, while antioxidant-rich green tea helps to brighten and protect. Gentle enough to use every day, this powerful mask is perfect for all skin types.”

3. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask–$45

This mask is my absolute favorite sleeping mask. I use it every night and it gives me the nicest, most luminous glow when I awake in the morning! This mask works to correct dullness, unevenness, and dryness in the skin, overnight! I love this mask because it really does correct all these skin problems! I would just suggest to apply a small amount to the face because it does ball up if you are not careful!

According to the Sephora website, “This luxuriously bouncy, breathable sleeping mask refreshingly hydrates, smooths, and perfects skin overnight with a revolutionary pillow-proof, transfer-proof formula. The oil-free, lightweight, glow-boosting hybrid is formulated with ultra-soothing watermelon extract, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and gentle AHAs that work while you sleep to tone and clarify roughened, dull complexions. AHAs smooth the surface of the skin by banishing dead, rough surface cells, clearing the path for ultra-effective, lasting hydration, while hyaluronic acid binds moisture to the skin for an incredibly nourished complexion. Skin is baby-soft and bright in the morning, effortlessly.”

4. Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask–$65

This mask is amazing for those of you with dry skin! This mask works to fix dryness, dullness, unevenness and skin texture, and fine lines and wrinkles, within the skin. Overall, this mask is a warming massage face mask that nourishes and revitalizes the skin for a glowing, smooth complexion. When I was struggling with my skin back in high school this mask really helped me to get my skin back to its best condition possible! This mask is very thick and feels amazing and very warming on the skin and is just one of the best hydrating masks that Sephora offers!

According to the Sephora website, “This face mask enhances and hydrates the skin for a younger appearance. It features an intensely moisturizing combination of honey (a natural humectant used since ancient times), propolis (an antiseptic found in beehives), and amino acid-rich royal jelly. Echinacea GreenEnvy™ is a unique variant of echinacea purpurea, which contains a high concentration of the phytochemical cichoric acid—a potent, natural antioxidant that enhances hydration and the purifying benefits of honey. Glycerin attracts moisture to the skin and provides hydrating effects for a suppler appearance. When glycerin comes in contact with the skin and is gently massaged, it transforms into a rich cream with a warming sensation to create a luxurious experience.”

    1. I love the watermelon mask and the honey mask is sooooo hydrating on the skin! If you do pick up the watermelon mask make sure you use it fairly sparingly because it will ball up on you if you don’t! Let me know if you pick up any of the masks I recommended! I would love to hear what you think! XO!
