  1. LÓreal Enchanted Scented Eyeshadow Palette–$14.99

My Review of the Palette:

This palette is ABSOLUTELY incredible! I have xclusively been using the Laura Lee Los Angeles Nudie Patootie palette but I think this palette has officially become my go-to palette! This palette is not only very visually appealing, it is absolutely amazing in terms of pigment! The matte shadows are buttery smooth and absolutely amazing, while the shimmers are so pigmented and work amazingly with a little bit of Mac Fix+! This palette features everything you need for a completed eye look, from a brow bone highlight, to a all over the lid setting shade, to crease shades, to shimmery shades for the lid! Overall, I am thrilled with the eye looks that I have created using this palette! I highly recommend this palette for beginningers with makeup to the most advanced makeup artists out there!

2. Colourpop Sol Pressed Eyeshadow Palette–$12.00

My Review of the Palette:

This palette is absolutely stunning. I was just scrolling through the Colourpop website  and I came across this palette and was struck by how gorgeous and “up my ally” it appeared! When I got this palette in the mail, I immediately swatched it and was NOT disappointed by the swatches! I was so excited to try the palette out on my eyes and did so the next morning. The palette also did NOT disappoint on the actual eyes, which is what matters! The matte shadows were so so pigmented and creamy while also being easy to blend. Yet, while they were so easy to blend, they also did not blend into nothing. I did a lot of blending in the look featured above and when I was done blending the eyeshadow was still just as pigmented as when I applied it, it was just more flawless and airbrush-looking, once blended. The shimmers in this palette are absolutely to die for! They work best applied with a finger and especially with a wet brush (I use MAC Fix + to wet brushes to apply shimmer shades but really any setting spray will work!). Overall, the shadows are very very creamy and very very pigmented, they are blendable and are not patchy when you blend them out on the eyes. I would recommend this palette to literally anyone. I would definitely pick this palette up if you are a lover of warm toned shadows! Lastly, this palette is SO inexpensive for the quality of the shadows that are in the palette. Honestly, I think Colourpop, overall, has the best eyeshadow palettes on the market and they are some of the cheapest, as well!

3. LÓreal Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick–$9.99

I just recently discovered these GEMS, but they are officially my new favorite liquid lipsticks, hands down! I was wandering the isles of CVS last week and I stumbled across these liquid lipsticks! I bought two shades and I was astounded at how amazing they were when I tried them when I got home! First of all, they smell so delicious, just like cocoa powder. But most importantly, the formula is incredible. The formula is so pigmented and not patchy whatsoever! The wear-time is incredible, these lippies last soooo long on the lips and look absolutely incredible the whole time you are wearing them! They last so long that they are actually difficult to get off! And lastly, the shade range is small but I don’t mind since these nudes are exactly what I have been searching for, for years!

My favorite shades: Box O’ Chocolate and Sweet Tooth (AND how cute are those names?!)

4. Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette–$27

My Review of the Palette:

I am absolutely obsessed with this palette, which makes sense since these palettes are called the Obsessions eyeshadow palettes! This palette is totally up my ally and literally my dream palette. The second that I saw it on the Just Arrived page on Sephora, I immediately fell in love and purchased it immediately! I am absolutely in love with all of these pinky and yellowy type shades which are so me and so perfect for summer! Additionally, the shadows in these palettes are absolutely incredible! They are so easy to blend and so so pigmented and rich in color without being overwhelming!

5. LÓreal Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush–$12.99

This blush has quickly become my new favorite! I absolutely adore it! This blush is amazing for the summer months and is that perfect peachy blush without being too pigmented! No one wants to have so much blush on that they look like a clown! This blush smells amazing and the formula is amazing! It is creamy and pigmented without being too pigmented. This blush just gives the most beautiful peachy flush to the cheeks, which again, is perfect for these summer months!

My Favorite Shade: 129–Just Curious

6. Colourpop Lux Matte Lipstick–$7.00

These matte lipsticks have quickly become one of my favorite lipstick formulas! They come in second place, in my makeup world, right behind the Tarte Color Splash Lipsticks! These lipsticks are so creamy yet matte! They do not extenuate fine lines or dry patches on the lips. I would not say that they are moisturizing on the lips, like the Tarte Color Splash Lipsticks are, but at the same time, they are not drying on the lips, either. The wear time of these lipsticks is very typical of a lipstick. They are not as long wearing as a liquid lipstick, but they are pretty long wearing for a lipstick! I really love the formula of these lipsticks because they are so creamy and pigmented yet they are matte at the same time. I love to pair the shades: Third Eye or Appy with my Too Faced Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Papa Don’t Peach. Either of those two lipsticks paired with the Too Faced Lip Gloss creates the most stunning combination and it has been my go-to ever since getting these lipsticks and I can tell that it will continue to be my go-to for quite a long long time! Lastly, the price of these lipsticks is $7.00 each, that is absolutely incredible. If you go to the drugstore, especially CVS, can be so expensive. For example, the L’Oréal Ultra Matte Highly Pigmented Nude Lipstick are $9.99 on the L’Oréal website, and I am sure they are even more at stores like Ulta and CVS. I tried the L’Oréal Ultra Matte Highly Pigmented Nude Lipstick years ago and they were nowhere near as good as these Colourpop Lipsticks and the Colourpop ones are $3.00 cheaper! I honestly think that these Colourpop Lipsticks are the best bang for your buck around. You cannot get any higher quality for the price, especially. I have been recommending these lipsticks to everyone that I know who is into makeup and have been getting so many compliments on my lipstick when wearing my two favorite shades, as well!

My Favorite Shades: Third Eye and Appy

7. Too Faced Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Papa Don’t Peach–$19.00

This lipgloss formula is one of my absolute favorites. It is so so pigmented without having that sticky feeling that most of us hate! The gloss is described as, a whipped peach lip oil with the shine of a gloss and the moisture of a lip balm. And that definitely rings true! It is definitely so hydrating, which your lips will thank you for!

July Skincare Favorites:

  1. Tony Moly Master Lab Mask in Intensive Brightening–$4.00

This mask is absolutely incredible! This mask made my makeup application after using it, absolutely flawless. My makeup just applied easier and more smoothly and my makeup looked just….better! And my skin!!!!! MY SKIN looked AMAZING! It looked literally the best it has ever looked before. Usually in the morning my skin looks dull and lackluster, especially if I forget to apply my GlamGlow DreamDuo the previous night before bed but with this mask, my skin literally glows but not in a greasy way. My skin glows in the most natural way and gives me a “lit from within” look to it! This is probably the most brightening mask that I have ever used before and for the price, you can’t do any better!

2. Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum–$80.00

I am so obsessed with this Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum! I bought it on a whim and am absolutely in love with it. I have tried multiple Drunk Elephant products in the past and was very impressed by the results and this product definitely did not disappoint! This product brightens my skin like no other product ever has. It provides the perfect canvas for makeup! I have also noticed diminished dark spots and improved skin texture after using this incredible product!

3. Origins High-Potency Nigh-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream–$45

night a mins 1

I am newly obsessed with this night cream. I love it paired with the Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum (see review below)! The combination of this Origins Night Renewal Cream and the Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum has completely replaced my former holy grail serum and moisturizer, the GlamGlow Dream Duo which features a serum on one side of the jar and a moisturizer on the other. I feel like this Origins and Tata Harper combination makes my skin much more glowy, dewy and more hydrated than the GlamGlow DreamDuo does. When I use this Origins Night Renewal Cream I notice a visible difference the next morning. Additionally, I noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference when I forgot to use this moisturizer one night. I woke up and my skin was significantly more sallow and dull-looking. My skin did not have that beautiful natural glow luminosity nor did it look bright and clear, as it does when I use this cream. This cream is also a great bang for your buck! Also, this product does not make my skin so glowy, dewy, and hydrated to the point that my skin looks visibly oily! I have normal skin that is more on the oily side, especially during the summer months and this product works perfectly with my skin type. With that being said, I also think that individuals with dry skin or even combination skin would also be able to use this product and get that hydration that they need! Another reason why I love this product is because of the amount of product you get in one jar! You get 1.7 ounces or 50 ml of product which is a very large amount for the price! Overall, I would recommend this moisturizer to anyone and everyone! It is fabulous!

4. Tata Harper Resfuracing Serum–$88.00

The first time I used this product I used it with the Origins High-Potency Nigh-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream for the first time as well and I was SHOCKED by the results. I had gotten about an hour of sleep the night before because of a paper that I needed to read a book and write a paper on that I had put off for far too long! I put this on at the normal time that I would apply my serum and moisturizer at about 10:30pm and worked on my paper until about 6:30 am. When I got up from my “nap” at 8:00am to get ready for and go to my internship in the morning, I was blown away by how my skin looked. It looked so youthful and radiant and glowing despite the lack of sleep from the night before. I received this serum as a deluxe sample from Sephora on an order of sheet masks (see post on my favorite sheet masks coming soon!) and I am definitely going to purchase the (very expensive, eep!) full size version! The combo of the Tata Resurfacing Serum and the Origins High-Potency Nigh-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream has definitely replaced my GlamGlow DreamDuo nightly serum and moisturizer. You definitely get a lot more product for the money!

My Favorite Experience/Memory From July:

At the end of the month, my boyfriend and I had the most amazing day together! We started the day by hanging out with my family and eating lunch with them, as well. In the early afternoon we took the train into Boston and ubered to the New England Aquarium. I intern at a museum in Salem, MA and was able to get us both in for free using my badge! We then walked around the Aquarium and saw all that it had to offer and then we went out to the back deck to see the seals! We got to the seals around 4:00pm and sat on the benches in front of them and just watched them swim around and play with each other! We were so fascinated by them and thought they were so entertaining that we actually stayed for an hour watching them and then stayed for the 5:00pm training show! They are so cute and just mesmerizing! After the training show we then left the Aquarium and ubered to a restaurant called Tavern in the Square right across from North Station. We then had an amazing meal, in fact, my boyfriend said it was the best meal he’s ever had at a restaurant! We then took the train back to my town and sadly, my boyfriend drove home. (He lives 20 minutes away from me and we go to the same college, which is such a blessing!) I had the best day ever and fell in love with him all over again!
