Forever 21 Haul!
I recently was feeling impulsive and put in an order to Forever21! I love Forever21 although I have seen a huge jump in their prices lately. That being said, the more expensive “section” of Forever21 called the Contemporary Line/Collection, I am not sure which one it is officially called, is amazing. I literally love every piece from that line/collection and even though it is more expensive, I definitely see a difference in style and quality with those pieces. So anyways, I picked up quite a few pieces from Forever21 this summer so I am going to do a try on haul for you all and give you my thoughts on each item and if I am going to keep or return each piece! XO!
1. Multicolor Striped Chiffon Top in Light Blue/Cream–$7.00
I absolutely adore this top. You can wear the top untucked for a more relaxed look. Or you could tuck it into a skirt, like I did here, or even tuck it into jeans, to achieve a more sophisticated look. The top does not wrinkle easily and is of pretty good quality. For the price you cannot get much better!
According to the Forever21 website, ” A chiffon woven top featuring an allover multicolor striped pattern, round neckline, sleeveless cut, and relaxed silhouette.”
2. V-Neck Cutout Cami Bodysuit in Ivory–$22.00
This body suit is probably my favorite purchase in this entire haul. It is so so flattering on the body. I love how the V-neck is deep but not untastefully deep, at the same time. As goes for the cut outs, they are sexy and add a little something different to this bodysuit but they do not appear untasteful. Although this piece is a bit pricey for bodysuits on Forever21, I wholeheartedly think it is worth the price because of the quality and the outstanding fit. The bodysuit hugs your body in all the right places as opposed to the places you do not want to accentuate. I will definitely be picking up this bodysuit in black, the next chance I get!
According to the Forever21 website, “A stretch-knit bodysuit featuring a V-neckline, adjustable cami straps, darting at the bust, side cutouts, cheeky cut, and a dual snap-button bottom closure.
1. Lace-Up Cropped Cami & Shorts Set–$48.00
- Striped Surplice Jumpsuit in White–$32.99
Featured above is a picture of my sister(right) and me(left) on the Fourth of July where I wore this jumpsuit to my Fourth of July festivities! I absolutely love this jumpsuit. I love the idea of jumpsuits but ones that fit right and well in all the correct places are definitely hard to come by. I think the cheaper ones you buy, the worse they fit so when I’m looking for jumpsuits I don’t mind splurging a little bit more for a better fit and definitely better quality.
According to the Forever21 website, “A textured woven jumpsuit in a graphic-striped print, featuring a plunging surplice neckline, sleeveless cut, back button-loop keyhole, crisscross straps at the side bodice, a smocked waist, culotte-cut leg, and pull-on styling.”
1. High-Waist Denim Mini Skirt in White–$19.90
I absolutely adore this mini skirt. It is long enough to wear to my office internship but you can definitely pair it with a bodysuit or a cute top and wear it out in the evening. The skirt fits so well and looks great on. The belt really puts this skirt over the top for me it totally ties the skirt and the whole look together. The belt cinches in your waist and makes the waist look tiny! Even when it (mine) is totally not! The only gripe I have with this skirt is that the button is defective. Which is such a bummer because the skirt, as I have said is amazing. I will definitely be taking it to a tailor or someone who can fix it to get it remedied. Does anyone have any suggestions of a type of professional who I can take it to? A seamstress or tailor? I’m not sure who to take it to!
According to the Forever21 website, “A denim mini skirt featuring a high-waist with self-tie belt, zip fly, back darts, and contrast stitching throughout.
2. Lace-Up Mini Skirt in Rust–$17.90
